A damaged or faulty battery can go into thermal runaway without warning, often while it is charging and no one is around. A standard chemical cabinet is designed to keep an outside fire out. A battery cabinet also has to keep an inside fire in.
The HI-LINE ION-LINE does both. It is fire resistant for 90 minutes from the outside in (type tested to EN 14470-1, Type 90) and for 90 minutes from the inside out (EN 1363-1). Smoke detectors and a temperature sensor pick up an incipient fire early, raise visual and audible alarms, and can pass the alarm straight to your building control system. That early warning and those 90 minutes are what give your people time to respond and your building time to stay protected.
This 1200mm wide cabinet is designed for storing and charging, with insulated shelves fitted with socket strips, coupled wing doors that open together with one hand and close automatically, and 3-point locking. Choose 3 to 6 shelves, and add options such as remote alarm signalling, a relay module or a fire suppression unit.
