Why do workplaced need chemical document storage?

To meet safety and compliance obgliations, workplaces that carry dangerous goods or hazardous chemicals must provide a range of documents for staff and emergency services to review. Choosing dedicated document storage helps maintain these documents and allows for easy access to them when they are required.

What kind of chemical documents should be store?

One of the most common documents required in workplaces managing dangerous goods are safety data sheets. These must be current and made available to any staff or emergency services that may require them. Other documents that may be required include hazardous chemical registers.

Are SDS a legal obligation?

Yes, if you have dangerous goods or hazardous chemicals in your operations, it is a legal obligation that staff have access to safety data sheets (SDS). Without easy access to these documents, incidents can occur.
