Oil Spill Kits are a Legal Requirement
In Australia it’s a legal requirement under section 357 of the Model WHS Regulation for organisations to provide the means to contain spills that may occur in any part of the workplace. Also, section 9 of the Australian Standard AS 1940-2017 recommends the use of hydrocarbon spill kits to manage above ground leaks and spills.
To enable organisations to meet these obligations, Storemasta supplies a range of oil and fuel spill kits to contain hydrocarbon spills. Storemasta oil spill response kits can contain any hydrocarbon spills including petrol, oil, grease, diesel, ethanol, acetone, paint and kerosene.
Fuel Spill Kit Sizes and Components
Storemasta’s oil spill kits come in several sizes. The available fuel spill containment kit sizes include 240L and 140L wheelie bin oil spill kits, 60L drums spill kit and 50L and 25L carry bag spill kits. The contents in these diesel spill kits include floor sweep, absorbent booms, absorbent pillows, absorbent pads, wipes, gloves and waste disposal bags.
